Caring for your product

Mattresses

  • When it comes to turnable mattresses, we recommend that you turn and rotate it once a week for the first month and every month after that. We also suggest that you rotate a non-turn mattress every month too.
  • After you’ve received delivery of your new mattress leave any bedding off it for an hour or two to allow it to air.
  • Consider using a mattress protector to keep your mattress in better condition for longer. We all perspire as we sleep, and a good-quality mattress protector will help keep moisture from penetrating your mattress, as well as protecting it from bed bugs and dust mites.
  • Contrary to some advice, we wouldn’t recommend that you vacuum your mattress. This can dislodge the fillings and affect the comfort and support properties of your mattress.

Beds

  • Unpack your products carefully, avoid any sharp implements to ensure no damage occurs to your new product. Please keep the packaging and polythene away from children.
  • Follow carefully the assembly instructions and ensure all screws are tightened to facilitate a safe comfortable sleeping platform. For headboards use the supports and ensure the bolts/screws are tightened securely.
  • Never use detergents or chemical cleaners on your products. These cleaners can adversely affect the fabrics on your bedstead/headboard.
  • Soiled areas can be lightly sponged with a weak solution of soap and lukewarm water. Should the problem persist then it is recommended you contact the stockists from whom you purchased the product.
  • When moving your products be aware they are very heavy and that if necessary should be done with more than one person, otherwise you could damage the goods or seriously injure yourself.
  • Please ensure you lift the product to move into position and not push, pull or drag the bedframe, this will damage the legs and fittings on the product which will not be deemed a manufacturing fault.
